instead of watching tv

it's a cold night in january... cold being a relative term, it is only about freezing here on the west coast of BC.
tonight, instead of watching tv we,

• cooked dinner
• taped my studio in preparation for painting the trim
• started training to run the 10 km race in Ottawa this spring
• played the board game, Puerto Rico (I won)
• talked
• listened to music
• relaxed together
